We are a small farm located 30 miles north of Boston in Newbury, Ma. We are raising saanens with a few experimental lamancha type dairy goats and laying hens in a unique setting of perennial and water gardens. Our herd is currently on DHIR testing and linear appraisal. Angel our grade saanen made top ten (1999) achieving 2nd. in milk,butterfat, and protein. All of our kids are raised on a CAE prevention program given heat-treated colostrum and pasteurized goat's milk. </B></div> <div> <B>Breedings for 2001: We are done with our breedings for Spring 2001. This year for Saanen bucks we used Hi-land Sumner’s Heat Wave on Lily + Blossom and Washoe- Zephyr Zinfandel on Pearl, Joy,and Minnie. Bambi our experimental (75% AL, 25%AN) was bred to Winterwood’s D Tornado (AL) and Stella (experimental 75% AL, 25%AN) was bred to B Wintewood”s SW Trinidad (AL). The first kids are due the end of March.
